Ukrainian women attend a demining training with chief demining instructor Artur Tigani near the town of Peja on April 25, 2022. In Kosovo, far from their homeland invaded by Russia, Ukrainian women are taking intensive demining courses to help their country get rid of a huge amount of explosives that would probably take decades. For now, six women will do the almost three-week training in the western town of Peja, known as Pec to Serbs, that started on April 25, 2022. Two others will join them later. The training is organised by MAT company which said it was the first of its kind outside Ukraine since the Russian invasion started.,Image: 686158877, License: Rights-managed, Restrictions: TO GO WITH AN AFP STORY, Model Release: no, Credit line: Profimedia
