1. Reduce colesterolul
Datorita unui compus unic prezent in telina, leguma are capacitatea de a micsora considerabil nivelul colesterolului. Intr-un studiu desfasurat la Universitatea din Singapore, in care soarecilor testati li s-a administrat timp de o saptamana o dieta bogata in grasimi, dupa ce li s-a dat extractul de telina, nivelul colesterolului lor a scazut semnificativ.
2. Diminueaza procesele inflamatorii
Telina contine antiodixanti si polizaharide, ce actioneaza ca antiinflamatoare naturale. Acestea sustin sanatatea organismului, prevenind imbatranirea celulara si previn astfel boli ca artrita, cancerul si bolile cardiovasculare.
