Mihaela Boşca a fost desemnată să reprezinte România la Miss World 2017, în urma selecţiei naţionale Miss World România 2017 care a avut loc pe 1 octombrie în Capitală.
Românca, 26 de ani, a absolvit Facultatea de Litere din cadrul Universităţii de Nord din Baia Mare. Mihaela are 1.78 m înălţime şi dimensiuni de invidiat: 90-61-91. Tânara are multe pasiuni, printre care dansul, sportul, limba latină, skydiving-ul, lectura, kartingul şi înotul.
Ea visează să se implice în viitor în cât mai multe proiecte de caritate şi voluntariat pe plan naţional şi internaţional. De asemnea, îşi doreşte o carieră de regizor, visul ei fiind să câştige titlul Miss World 2017 şi datorită acestei notorietăţi să se poată lansa în industria cinematografică.
„Câştigarea titlul Miss World România şi aducerea coroanei Miss World în România a fost la propriu visul meu de când eram mică. Prima parte a visului mi s-a împlinit şi sper cu ajutorul lui Dumnezeu să îmi împlinesc visul 100% pe 18 noiembrie China! Sunt extrem de onorată să îmi reprezint frumoasă ţară pe scenă Miss World 2017 promiţând maramureşenilor mei şi tuturor românilor să îi fac mândri prin prestaţia mea şi rezultatele mele. Voi promova România şi turismul României, în faţă a sute de milioane de telespectatori din întreagă lume", a declarat Mihaela, potrivit actualmm.ro.
Competiţia din care fac parte aproximativ 120 de candidate din tot atâtea ţări, va avea loc în acest an în Sanya – China, celebrând a 67-a ediţie, în perioada 20 octombrie – 18 noiembrie 2017. Finala Miss World 2017 se va desfăşura pe data de 18 noiembrie, iar marele premiu este în valoare de 100.000 de dolari americani.
