Profesorul Gherghe Mencinicospchi ne recomandă 3 meniuri sănătoase pentru micul dejun: Meniul 1 - 1-2 ouă pregătite scrob (omletă spartă), din ouă de preferat ecologice sau inscripţionate cu cifra 1 sau 2 - 70 g paine integrală (3 felii) făra aditivi alimentari - 10-20 g unt natural (untul se consumă de preferinţă dimineaţa) - ceai de plante sau ceai verde, negru, cafea filtru de bună calitate (150ml), fară îndulcitori. Se poate adauga puţin zahăr brun sau miere (numai dupa ce temperatura scade sub 40 de grade C). Meniul 2 - 150 g grătar de mânzat pregătit fără sursă de foc deschis sub carne, cu garnitură 300 g legume fierte asezonate cu un sos de ciuperci sau roşii - Ceai de plante sau ceai verde, negru, cafea espresso fără lapte. Se poate adăuga puţin zahăr brun, miere naturală, sirop de arţar numai după ce temperatura scade sub 40 grade C Meniul 3 - cereale care să fie consumate la micul dejun, de preferinţă, în una dintre zilele de post - cerealele de mic dejun trebuie să fie obţinute din măciniş integral sau din amestecuri de grâu dur şi comun - cerealele se vor asocia cu nuci, seminţe, leguminoase, dar nu cu fructe, inclusiv fructe uscate - se vor consuma cu ceai sau cu lapte de soia sau orez şi nu cu iaurt sau lapte.
