Vreti sa faceti miscare insa timpul nu va permite sa mergeti la o sala de sport? Aparatele de gimnastisca la care puteti lucra acasa, in timpul liber, vi se par investitii prea scumpe? Puteti gasi solutii alternative. Specialistii revistei Reader’s Digest au alcatuit, in cartea „Mancarea si Sanatatea”, un ghid al activitatilor care pot inlocui cu succes mersul la sala de sport.
Dansul
Avantaje: Bun, indiferent de forma fizica. De salon – mobilitate ge-nerala; popular – exercitiu aerobic; latino-american – forta si flexibilitate; step sau dans irlandez – forta in zona inferioara a corpului.
Plan de actiune: Asistati sau participati la ore de dans pana descoperiti un stil care va atrage, apoi bucurati-va de el. Orice forma de dans e un amuzament si o modalitate de socializare.
Sfaturi/riscuri: Unele forme de dans, precum baletul, jazzul sau dansul contemporan, sunt solicitante fizic si pot fi nepotrivite pentru persoanele cu probleme articulare.
Mersul
Avantaje: Nesolicitant si facil de inclus in programul zilnic. Stimuleaza inima, plamanii, muschii si creierul. Studiile arata ca si un mers foarte usor va poate prelungi viata, pastrandu-va mobilitatea si arzand calorii.
Plan de actiune: Planificati-va pentru inceput 10-15 minute de mers zilnic si mariti durata pana la 30 de minute. Balansati-va mainile si mergeti suficient de repede ca sa transpirati usor.
Sfaturi/riscuri: Purtati intotdeauna pantofi solizi si confortabili. Folositi la pasit tot piciorul, asezandu-l mai intai cu calcaiul si apoi lasandu-va toata greutatea sa cada de-a lungul talpii pana la varf.
Alergarea
Avantaje: Combate bolile de inima, cresterea colesterolului in sange, hipertensiunea arteriala si multe alte pro-bleme de sanatate. Declanseaza si secretia de endorfine – substante din creier care binedispun si reduc anxietatea.
Plan de actiune: Incepeti cu un pas vioi si cu putina alergare de circa doua ori pe saptamana, timp de doua saptamani, cu atentie sa nu va supradozati efortul. Cresteti treptat viteza, distanta si numarul de alergari pe saptamana.
Sfaturi/riscuri: Un risc sporit este la genunchi, glezna si laba piciorului. Pantofii cu talpa groasa protejeaza genunchii si soldurile. Daca sunteti suprapoderal, consultati medicul inainte de a incepe alergarile.
Inotul
Avantaje: Actioneaza majoritatea grupurilor mari de muschi si constituie un excelent exercitiu aerobic. Creste forta, rezistenta si supletea, cu un risc de vatamare a incheieturilor neglijabil.
Plan de actiune: Daca va plictisiti inotand incoace si incolo pe culoarele din bazin sau daca nu stiti sa inotati, puteti incerca sa faceti gimnastica in piscina sau in cadrul unui grup de aqua-aerobica.
Sfaturi/riscuri: Dupa ce ati inotat, faceti un dus bun si dezinfectati-va eventualele rani. Nu inotati niciodata decat dupa cel putin o ora de la ultima masa. Nu va siliti sa va tineti capul afara din apa – acest lucru forteaza mult gatul si spatele.
Ciclismul
Avantaje: Expertii in medicina sustin ca este unul din cele mai bune tipuri de exercitii, adecvat pentru oamenii de aproape orice varsta, fie ca sunt in forma, fie ca nu. Creste rezistenta musculara si tonifica muschii picioarelor.
Plan de actiune: Puteti investi intr-o bicicleta medicala, avantajele aerobice sunt identice cu cele ale bicicletei normale si puteti pedala pe orice vreme. Folositi bicicleta in plimbari de placere la sfarsitul saptamanii.
Sfaturi/riscuri: Alegeti o bicicleta adecvata tipului de ciclism pe care il veti practica si care sa va fie pe masura. Pe sosea purtati imbracaminte fluorescenta sau reflectorizanta.
