Problema cea mai mare a parintilor si bunicilor, odata cu venirea unui copil intr-o familie, este daca mananca suficient. A manca mult sau a manca de toate nu inseamna intotdeauna a manca sanatos.
In decursul ultimelor decenii s-a constatat o explozie a afectiunilor intestinale, de nutritie si cardiovasculare. Acestea pot fi prevenite prin consumul unor alimente precum cerealele, legumele, fructele si iaurtul si evitarea excesului de grasimi, zahar si sare.
Meniul zilnic trebuie sa fie foarte variat
Parintii pot ajuta copilul sa devina un adult sanatos urmand cateva sfaturi simple:
Alcatuiti un meniu zilnic variat, care sa contina cereale, fructe, legume, lactate, preparate din carne si oua.
Aveti grija ca ratia de cereale sa contina minim 50% cereale integrale (paine neagra, orez integral, fulgi din cereale integrale).
Incurajati consumul zilnic a doua fructe si trei legume. Cresteti consumul vegetalelor proaspete si nu a celor din conserve (care au un continut mare de sare) ori a celor cu adaos de maioneza, sosuri grase ori smantana. Fructele proaspete sunt de preferat cele din compoturi sau bauturilor racoritoare din fructe (acestea din urma contin mult zahar si foarte putine vitamine si minerale).
Cresteti consumul de fructe si vegetale intregi (cu coaja) pentru aport de fibre. Consumate intregi sau cel mult fierte in vapori de apa, acestea contin o cantitate mult mai mare de vitamine si minerale. Fructele le puteti servi ca desert, in loc de prajituri, bomboane ori caramele.
Incurajati consumul de lapte si produse lactate degresate (0%) sau cu continut scazut de grasimi (1-2%).
Inlocuiti inghetata cu un iaurt degresat inghetat.
Limitati aportul de cascaval si de branza topita. Cea mai indicata pentru consum este branza proaspata de vaci cu putina sare.
Cresteti consumul de carne de pui, curcan si peste oceanic (care contin grasimi esentiale), serviti cel mult 3 oua/saptamana si renuntati la mezeluri grase, carnati si crenvursti. Evitati carnea si ouale prajite. Acestea vor fi mancate, de preferinta, fierte ori preparate pe gratar sau la cuptor.
Folositi uleiuri vegetale (floarea soarelui, porumb, soia), limitati consumul de dulciuri si, pe cat posibil, inlocuiti sarea cu condimente.
Inlocuiti bauturile dulci cu apa plata si sucuri din fructe proaspat stoarse.
