Ducesa de Cambridge și-a făcut debutul în lumea modei, având o apariție istorică pe coperta revistei Vogue, călcând astfel pe urmele regretatei Lady Di.
Kate Middleton a acceptat să pozeze pe coperta Vogue cu ocazia aniversării a celor 100 de ani ai ediţiei britanice a revistei de modă, urmând-o astfel pe regretata Diana, prinţesa de Wales, care pozase în urmă cu 19 ani pe coperta prestigioasei publicaţii.

Ducesa de Cambridge a fost fotografiată într-o zonă rurală din Norfolk, unde trăieşte cuplul regal britanic, împreună cu cei doi copii, micul George și prințesa Charlotte, și au fost realizate de celebrul fotograf Josh Olins. Aceasta apare pe coperta publicației, purtând o pălărie verde închis, o haină maro şi o bluză albă.
