Kara, căsătorită din 2014 cu jucătorul de fotbal american Kyle Bosworth, a anunțat că a decis să doneze organele sănătoase ale lui McCoy pentru a sprijini alții nou-născuți care se luptă pentru viața lor.

He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts.
