Franțuzoiaca susține că lucrează ca fotomodel de la vârsta de 30 de ani, însă succesul l-a întâlnit abia după ce s-a mutat în SUA, în 1999, iar de atunci a devenit imaginea mai multor mărci de renume internațional. Pe lângă dietă, contează foarte mult meditația, susține femeia, fapt pentru care ea face yoga zilnic, și foarte important în menținerea tinereții e sexul. Topmodelul a povestit pentru „The Guardian” că în 2007, a părăsit New York-ul pentru California.
