Vedeta de la Hollywood, 52 de ani, își plânge sora: DeOndra Dixon a murit la doar 36 de ani, informează Bild.
”Inima mi s-a frânt în milioane de bucăți”, a scris Foxx pe Instagram. El a descris-o pe sora sa, care avea sindromul Down, ca fiind o ”lumină puternică”.
”Când dădeam petreceri, DeOndra apărea pe ringul de dans și fura tot spectacolul. Acum dansează în ceruri”, rememorează actorul.
Deși durerea este incredibilă, Jamie spune că a trebuit să zâmbească o clipă, ”când m-am gândit la toate amintirile minunate pe care mi le-a lăsat”.

Toată familia a fost zguduită de moartea surorii sale, însă Foxx nu a furnizat nicio informație despre cauza morții.
“M-a învățat cum și pentru ce să trăiesc”
Într-un interviu, Foxx mărturisea: ”Sora mea m-a învățat cum și pentru ce să trăiesc. Uneori suntem atât de prinși în lumea noastră... Dar când o vedeam pe ea, dorința ei de a trăi, de a dansa, de a iubi, înțelegeam ceea ce înseamnă cu adevărat viața”.
DeOndra Dixon a fost ambasador pentru Global Down Syndrome Foundation. S-a născut în Texas, în 1984. A absolvit liceul și apoi s-a mutat în California, unde a locuit cu familia fratelui ei.
Jamie Foxx e câștigător al premiului Oscar: în 2005 a primit statueta pentru ”Cel mai bun actor într-un rol principal” în ”Ray”, filmul biografic dedicat muzicianului american Ray Charles.
