Un cuplu a renunţat la viaţa lor luxoasă, au strâns tot într-o camionetă şi călătoreşte în toată lumea.
Lisa Felepchuk, 33 de ani, din Stouffville, Ontario, Canada, era redactorul şef la o revistă de lux şi zbura la Paris doar pentru a vedea o prezentare de modă Chanel, în timp ce iubitul ei, Coleman Molnar, 31 de ani, din Merritt, British Columbia, era editorul unei reviste de lux pentru bărbaţi. Coleman îşi permitea să zboare în India pentru a gusta un cognac de 30.000 de dolari.
În ciuda vieţii luxoase pe care amândoi o aveau, cuplul a decis să renunţe la joburile lor zilnice pentru libertatea de a locui în maşină, într-un VW din 1983, după ce au cheluit 8,000 de dolari pentru a o reface.

I didn't really care about cooking until we decided to eat plant-based this past summer. Making vegan meals feels like being on a foodie reality tv show; it's a challenge to make something warm and tasty that's entirely from plants. Like, we're not eating cold cucumber slices piled into the shape of a pizza topped with carrots instead of pepperoni. We pulled into a spot to sleep, made lentil jambalaya in near silence and went to bed early. These polished Insta photos tell one side of our vanlife story, but don't be fooled: stress levels rise, as they did in our city life. (The camera sadly tends to stay in the bag when we're acting like a-holes.) We ended up sleeping for nearly 10 hours (a rare occurrence) and woke up much less lumpy. It's 20C and sunny in Saskatchewan today; we've swept the floor, washed the rubber mats, shook out the rugs and reorganized out kitchen. Life is good today, better. It'd been awhile. We went for a run along a river and had an outdoor shower to clean up, built a fire and crushed some tall cans, had an epic dance off when Icona Pop came on the portable speaker, played cards by candlelight. In the morning, we found a teensy local library and worked from there. It was magic. But truth be told, we were also excited to get back to our Toronto subleased apt.
